Whilst perhaps less famous than its prolific offspring, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; Cabernet Franc remains one of the key red wine grapes in the world. It adds an elegant herbaceous/spicy complexity to traditionally more fruit-forward grapes, and features behind-the-scenes in some of the most expensive and sought-after wines in the world.
